I took my 6 yr old daughter and 3 yr old son this past weekend to Disney World. By myself!
And I survived!
A little crazier but I came back in one piece!
The parks were busy but we maneuvered well. This was my first trip with the kids to Disney without my ex. They missed him but we were plenty busy with everything around us.
We kept Grayheart updated with pics throughout the weekend but it did feel a little strange to not have him there to participate in such a big adventure.
One of many firsts I’m knocking out of the way. π
Here’s to many more new adventures with my rugrats as a single mom!
Cheers!
XO
My mantra throughout the weekend: I got this!
I used to live there and never went. I’m so glad you had fun. It really is a wonderful place, I hear. Yay for you!

Thanks! It’s funny how you can live somewhere that has these things and not visit. I barely go to the beach even though it’s right here. Lol! Thanks for the support! π xo

I guess it’s the hype surrounding those places…and the traffic. UGH! I waited until the day we were leaving Dallas to go see the “grassy knoll” and the school book depository. Go figure.

Keep on keepin on! Your kids will survive this, as will you. The memories may be different, but no less memorable. As a child of divorce, at about the same age as your daughter, I can tell you that it’ll be fine. π

Different doesn’t always mean worse. It’s a new normal, but before long it’ll just be normal. π

Def a confidence booster! It’s amazing to see what we’re capable of if we don’t let fear rule our life. Thanks for the props, mi amiga. Hope you’re doing well! Xoxo

Thanks! If you had seen me in Disney, you wouldn’t call me graceful! Lol! I’ve never been that mom that looks poised and put together! But I get my hands dirty and always have fun with my kids. π
Hope you are doing well and are enjoying the holiday season with your family. Xo
