We’ve had such amazing weather these past few weeks. Blue skies, nice breeze, weather in the 60s/70sF…. Went for a run with a friend this morning by Biscayne Bay. Had such a great time I though I’d post a picture of my view this morning. It’s nothing spectacular but it made me appreciate being able to do this during winter.

I’m craving for a blue sky !!! when I look through the window, all I can see is a grey sky, slushy snow and… dead nature around 😦 Can’t wait for winter to be over !

When I lived up north (Washington, DC), winter wore me out. It wasn’t necessarily the temperature but the short days. You’d go to work, it was dark… Leave work, it was dark… Depressing almost. The moment spring hit, everyone was doing some sort of outdoor activity. Makes you appreciate the sun more. Here in miami, you are dying from heat during most of the year so you avoid outdoor activities (except the beach) to avoid melting!

Exactly, driving to work and back home are done in complete darkness, and it’s difficult to be in the mood to do something once you are at home. I feel tired all the time. Maybe that’s why people from warmer countries are less stressed and more cheerful all the time 🙂
